Assistant Manager - Fund Administration - Asset Management Firm

The client is an international Asset Management Company.

Job Description: The person would primarily be responsible for the following work areas:

Reporting: Regulatory and Internal: Ensure accurate and timely deliverable of regulatory and internal reportings

Control function: Managing and executing various internal control related activities viz.

1. Reviewing and reducing open breaks in Transaction Reconciliations

2. Daily holding and Net asset reconciliation

3. Bank reconciliation

4. Asset-liability reconciliation and

5. Matured scheme reconciliation

Data maintenance:

1. Undertake and ensure completeness from the perspective of data updating on daily and periodical basis in multiple systems

2. Tracking & Processing of corporate actions

Other Activities: Manage other ancillary activities like bank and securities account opening, broker empanelment, Fund expense processing, KYC / Aadhar updating, etc.

Audit co-ordination: Involves liaising with auditors right from the planning stage up until issuance of report/signed financials, coordinating with intermediaries (FA, Custody) and internal team ensuring the deliverables are adhered to on a timely basis.

Taxation: Backup other team member for identified tax compliance activities to ensure efficient BCP for the function.

Years of Experience: 2- 3 year work experience in relevant work areas at Mutual Fund

Qualifications: MBA
