Assistant Manager - Finance - Financial Consulting Firm

- Planning and Forecasting Revenue Recognition

- MIS Reporting

- Understand the business strategies and the assumptions built within the Corporate Long-term plan

- Collate submissions from business owners into the budget model and validate the numbers

- Understand and challenge the assumptions within the submissions and ensure they align with the corporate plan.

- Preparation and presentation of budget summaries to the Managers and Finance Controllers

- Collation and validation of monthly forecast submission by the business?

- Monthly movement analysis and commentary.

- Presentation of forecast numbers to the business.

Skills must have:

- Desire to get into the details.

- Strong presentation skills

- FP&A experience gained within established businesses ,preferably consulting.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong knowledge of planning and performance processes ,including annual budget,monthly forecast and periodic business reviews.

- Team orientated ,a "can do" attitude and flexible approach.

- Enthusiasm for solving problems and working collaboratively.

- Work experience with mid-size to large companies with high growth preferred.

- Strong working knowledge of accounting, controlling and finance operations.
