Experience in Plant accounting

1. Ensure accurate costing of the products, maintenance of cost records and implement uniform management accounting practices across the group

2. Ensure reliable and timely MIS for Board and top management

3. Prepare a budget for improvement in budget processes

4. Detailed scrutiny of fixed cost and suggest saving possibilities and better controlling methods

5. Work as member of CFT for cost reduction, improvements at plant

6. Coordinate and control working capital - Inventory within norms

7. Secure budgetary control and analysis of actual expenses vs budget.

8. Automate and simplify MIS reports and business processes across group with help of IT

9. Prepare, review and ensure adherence to department policies and SOPs (as applicable)

10. Monitor capex projects from initiation till completion from finance perspective and ensure fixed asset accounting

11. Ensure filing of all relevant government returns with government authorities

12. Coordinate with auditors to finalise accounts and cost audit report

13. Ensure timely completion of periodic closing (monthly | quarterly | yearly) activities

14. Maintain and update fixed asset register

15. Monitor ongoing capex - budgetary control, analysis of expenses, passing grouping JVs, capitalisation on commissioning

16. Prepare and analyse various periodic project MIS reports

17. Ensure physical verification of asset and eAM and FA synchronisation

18. Support system improvement and process automation for better monitoring of fixed asset register

19. Review and analyse the product cost in multiple dimensions

20. Prepare and improve variable cost budgeting through system

21. Prepare and compile relevant data for annual report

22. Prepare, compile and consolidate annual budget

23. Monitor and ensure use of Hyperion planning and other BI tools

24. Compile investment proposals for submission to the investment committee

25. Control working capital against the approved norms
