Job Description:
- We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager Finance, holding a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation, to join our team in Bahrain.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations in compliance with Bahrain's accounting standards and taxation regulations, including VAT and other financial regulations.
- Additionally, they will provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with Bahrain's accounting standards, taxation regulations, and other financial regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets and forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other tax filings in compliance with Bahraini taxation regulations.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to senior management on strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business opportunities.
- Stay updated on changes to Bahraini accounting standards, taxation regulations, and other financial regulations, and ensure compliance across all financial operations.
- Mentor and develop junior finance team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of Bahrain's accounting standards, taxation regulations, and financial regulations.
- Gulf experience is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
Age requirement: 20-35 years.
