Our Client is Hiring Assistant Manager - Finance (CA) in Mumbai Location Qualification - Chartered Accountant Experience - 1 to 3 year Skills - Finance, Consolidation, Balance sheet, Trial Balance Preferred candidates from manufacturing Industries or big4 1. JOB PURPOSE - Reporting responsibility in terms of Monthly financial, MIS, Accounting etc. which in turn helps the management to take timely decisions on various aspects of performance - This position is responsible for all areas relating to accounting functions and financial Reporting. - This position will be responsible for supervision of daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities at unit level. 2 JOB RESPONSIBILITY a. Primary Responsibility (Critical to the function - Must be done) 1. Finalization of books of account and statutory records a) Scrutiny of Books of accounts b) Monthly and year end Provisions. c) Supervision of day to day accounting and payments d) Fixed Assets capitalization and review of Capital work in progress e) Timely closure of books of accounts on monthly and annual basis f) Review of all contracts and custodian of exposures contracted with Vendors. Ensuring authority matrix followed and deviations are appropriately ratified. 2. MIS, Financial Statements &Audit : a. Expense management - review and escalation of exceptions. b. Accounting and process controls around c. Analysis of Cost Vs Benefit on Major expenses Spends d. Co-ordinations with internal and Statutory Auditor e. Statutory (quarterly and Annual) and Tax audit completion as per timelines advised by management f. Preparation of Financial statement (stand-alone and Consolidated Financial statement) 3. Regulatory and Statutory compliance : a) Implementation of Internal audit gaps and timely correction of processes. b) Working knowledge of Companies Act 2013, c) Working knowledge of Ind AS d) working knowledge of indirect tax for day to day accounting b. Secondary Responsibility (Other areas of responsibilities like follow ups, being backup for team members, other activities 1.
