Description : Assistant Manager (L7) - External Reporting

Job Description :

- Prepare and analyse the financial statements in line with IFRS requirements

- Resolving inter-company reconciliation/matching issues

- Supporting business areas, controlling data populated in Saracen, and analysis of the consolidated results submitted to Group / External Regulatory bodies

- Prepare/review consolidation journals, returns, ad hoc information and notes to the Accounts

- Analyse the schedules, perform variance analysis and investigate the reason for movement and provide suitable commentary.

- Be a team player in supporting the planning and forecasting team activities (monthly and quarterly), wherever applicable.

- To be flexible with duties to manage the peaks in the process.

- Identify opportunities for development and drive changes independently

- Interpret IFRS rules and apply in preparation of GRCA reporting schedules and related disclosures

- Co-ordinate, work-closely with in-country finance teams

Skills/Experience Required :

- Qualified CA (Chartered Accountant)/CWA /CPA /CFA/ MBA (Finance)/ PGDBM-Finance with at least 2+ years of post-qualification experience or commerce graduates with at least 4+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting, global consolidation, financial analysis Ability to manage the service delivery of a designated processes.

- Ability to understand numbers and their impact drive and achieve accuracies across report deliveries

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word), Saracen and Hyperion

- Excellent Communication skills - Both verbal and written

- Good analytical skills, an eye for detail and a drive for quality, statistical skills to study trends, understand and to interpret Numeric information

- Knowledge of, and experience in planning and organizing techniques as well as in problem solving techniques

- Global Exposure : Ability to interact with multiple cultures / multi-tasking

- Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements

- Should be open to shifts and willing to work overtime as per the process requirements

- Person should have good understanding on consolidation of accounts

- The person will be an individual contributor and will be involved in the preparation of GRCA Reports.

Additional Information / Specific Skills (If Any) :

- Coordination with business area and across business partners - strong inter personal skills

- Strong Analytical Skills

- Good Understanding of IFRS

- Strong systems knowledge (Preferably Saracen)
