Assistant Manager - ESG/Corporate Sustainability - Retail Fashion

Designation: Assistant Manager ESG or Corporate Sustainability (Retail Fashion)

Location: Mumbai

Job Responsibilities:

In order to achieve this job responsibility, the person executes projects under the Sustainability policy through:

- Providing support to the Sustainability Team

- Plan and schedule regular meetings within team and at Company level

- Data collection, preprocessing and Visualization

- Quantitative Analysis

- Managing ESG related projects for the company.

- Leading initiatives towards sustainability

- Coordinating teams within the company and outside

- Basic understanding of life cycle assessment and product carbon footprint, climate-related risk assessment

- ESG/Sustainability Reporting based on frameworks such as GRI / CDP / BRSR etc.

- Stays attuned to any new company/group level policy that mandates designing structured policies and initiatives impacting sustainable outcomes.

- Brainstorms projects as per the focus areas laid down and proposes the feasible ones to HoD.

- Conducts due diligence of new projects, with the involved stakeholders , if required.

- Ensures that MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) are signed off by partnering organizations.

- Ensures & promotes the involvement of internal corporate employees / stores team in implementation and administration of the projects.

- Conducts all process checks regularly for ongoing projects and newly launched projects to ensure they remain viable and contributes to the cause. Acts as one-point of contact for all the projects being undertaken.

- Measures timely impact and outcome of projects; ensures that they are presented through annual reports, monthly reports and company level announcements and presentations.
