- The job holder will have a key role in all areas of the Emaar Group Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program covering all business segments.

- This includes taking a key role in the continuous enhancement of the design and application of the ERM Framework, assessing and reporting key risks and mitigation, and developing risk reporting for the organization. Further, the candidate should also be well versed in identifying and mitigating information technology and cyber risks.

- Facilitate the overall implementation of the ERM framework and the Group annual Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Plan.

- Ensure that risks are identified and are proactively managed to balance both the risk and rewards of the business.

- Facilitate the organization's and its business entities' definition of risk appetite and tolerance levels.

- Develop and maintain risk registers: Conduct risk assessments, identify strategic and operational risks, facilitate the prioritization of risks, identify risk owners, assess effectiveness of control and mitigating actions.

- Develop and communicate risk reports and presentations.

- Research, develop, analyze, review and report key risk indicators (KRIs) and their supporting information. Ensure that top / critical risk movements are identified and escalated.

- Conduct follow ups with business champions to ensure satisfactory implementation of the agreed risk mitigants.

- Contribute in developing the annual Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) plan by defining various risk activities to be undertaken during the year. Accordingly, prioritize and implement agreed ERM plan.

- Facilitate in the continuous evaluation of the risk management and governance processes and accordingly, identify and implement innovative design enhancements (such as those related to ERM framework, ERM Policy, GRC tool,and reporting templates).

- Engage and maintain effective business relationships within the organization.

- Maintain knowledge of Emaar's business environment/ context and its units/ functional departments.

- Provide support to management and employees regarding risk management strategies and programs.

- Complete any ad-hoc assignments.
