Assistant Manager - EHS - Chemicals Business

Key Responsibilities:

- To drive sustainability initiatives across all plants.

- GHG accounting

- Drive ESG activities -water conservation , energy conservation and waste minimization , plastic waste reduction activities in the line of Company's Business plan

- To provide necessary cross-functional support for various improvement initiatives undertaken by the plant.

- Monitoring EHS parameter thru' SAP EHS system,

- Drive EPR under PWM rules. Liasoning with PRO, CPCB , SPCB Etc

- To ensure ETP, STP, Zero Liquid discharge plant, incinerators are in operating condition

- Investigating, monitoring and analyzing accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences etc.

- To conduct periodical audit of safety systems and equipments. Ensure completion of actions arising out of internal/external audits.

- To provide training and motivation to employees at all levels for maintaining safety and Environment at work place.

- To update knowledge on safety standards processes and legislations from time to time and keep the management fully informed.

- Engaged with Technical team on REACH guidelines compliance, MSDS etc.

- MIS, Presentation
