Assistant Manager - Direct Taxation

Key Activities

- Responsible and accountable for Direct tax compliances.

- Tax litigation and appearing for assessments, appeals (appellate & Tribunal) and on all tax-related matters

- Review business processes and suggest best practices to ensure tax compliances of the highest level in true spirits.

- Drafting reply to various show cause notices and government notices

- Liaoning with Government officials

- Ensure timely regulatory filings for tax returns (WHT, Income Tax, etc.) and under The Companies Act (RoC filings).

- Pan-India co-ordinations with various consultants for tax compliances

- Representing tax team in all internal and external meetings/forums..etc.

Key Result Areas :

- Income tax - Advance tax, Annual tax calculation, Tax audit and filling of Annual tax return, Income tax assessments

- Transfer pricing - study report, TP documentation, TP audit & assessments

- Secretarial compliances - support under The Companies Act.

- Drafting appeals and reply to notices under various fiscal laws
