Assistant Manager - Taxation

Location : Gurgaon

Qualification - Incumbent must be a qualified CA/CMA/CS. OR Semi Qualified with requisite work experience

Experience : 4-5 years post qualification OR 6-7 years for Semi qualified candidate

- Should have worked in tax function and have handled work related to Direct taxes as well as Indirect taxes. Candidate having Direct tax experience only may also considered

- Experience should include handling of compliance, litigation & assessments and internal advisory

Work profile :

- Require to handle the Internal advisory in the matters relating to Direct taxes and Indirect taxes and other related regulatory matters

- Require to handle the tax assessments and litigations independently

- Require to handle the compliance related supervision and advisory including carrying the internal audit, developing effective controls

- Co-ordination with internal customers like finance as well as other functions for information and other work

- Co-ordination with the external customers like tax offices for representation and liaison

- Co-ordination with the external agencies like consultants and agents

- Internal administration with in tax team

- Handling the executive staff under the positions on day to day basis

Desired skills :

- Should be able to communicate (written & verbal) in English

- Should be possessing good soft skills

- Knowledge of ERP like Oracle is added advantage

- Prior experience in telecom industry or BIG4 consultancy is desirable
