Due to the increasing importance and spends of digital media, this role is being spun off from the PR- Digital combined role.   Role and Responsibilities  Strategic:  1. To lead the development of the digital marketing capability for the organization by providing thought leadership for all brands.   2. Create an annual digital marketing calendar and build digital programs that will help achieve the objectives laid out in the digital strategy as well as the overall brand objectives.   3. Work with the Digital Media Agency, Advertising Agency and Leadership Team to set goals, refine strategy, and review progress.  4. Devise tools and scorecards that will measure performance on digital marketing as well as its impact on the overall brand equity.   Operational:  1. Responsible for the development and deployment of creative assets across all digital media and channels including social, own media, google display network, mobile etc.  Role and Responsibilities  Strategic:  1. He/She needs to independently manage digital engagement with the consumers across all of the assets and grow the brand.  3. Spearheading promotional campaigns and engaging with the marketing teams and agencies to execute the campaign. Includes digital specific campaigns as well as digital implementation of major offline/brand marketing campaigns.   4. Identify digital trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.  5. Constantly review the digital marketing strategy by means of analytics in order to maximize ROI. He/ She should be able to identify key drivers of ROI and make them a part of the digital marketing score card.  6. Online Reputation Management.   Team and People : Four to five people  Preferred Skills:   1. Ability to think laterally, make connections and some creative thinking is needed. An inquisitive, broader world view is desirable.   2. Ability to deliver campaigns and projects on time.  3. Must have digital Strategy and long term road map development.   4. Must have strong digital skills - should have worked with and run campaigns on digital as part of the brand/ marketing strategy.   Qualifications:   Essential: Post graduate degree with specialization preferably in MBA marketing from a premiere / Rung 2 b-School.  Desirable:   Work Experience:   Essential:   1. Must have a collaborative approach and must exhibit high levels of energy in order to engage with and align internal and external stakeholders on the digital roadmap for the brand for the year. ( most critical)  2. 2 - 5 years of marketing experience in the FMCG industry of which minimum 2 years should be in digital marketing (non FMCG also works) in a similar capacity.  3. Must have experience in digital analytic and KPI measurement and management.   Desirable: Understanding of marketing ROI in the digital space and digital marketing ROI.  Capable of independently managing the digital agency including appointment.   DESIRED AGE PROFILE : Below 30 Yrs
