Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Strategic Sourcing - Auto

Job Profile / Specific desirable experiences/Preferred knowledge areas:

1. Knowledge of Supplier base, Process knowledge in Casting or Transmission.

2. Having process knowledge and understanding of cost drivers

3. Sourcing & Pricing of Parts for New Projects by meeting Target Time line & Target Part Cost.

4. Settlement of Engineering cost & Tooling cost.

5. Controlling Price increases (Commodity, Forex, Packaging, Freight Transportation etc.) & identifying cost saving opportunities

6. Capacity Planning & building supplier capacities.

7. Work closely with the R&D & development teams to support strategic sourcing projects.

8. Negotiate & finalize development & Supply contracts

9. Supplier Management Initiatives

- Business reviews with Supplier

- Vendor Meet
