Assistant Manager - CSR

Job Purpose:

- Develop and implement strategic initiatives in line with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives in daily operations for Intertek India.

Dimensions:

- Keep abreast of global and local best practice with regard to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) generally, and the unit’s activities specifically

- Assist in driving the company’s sustainability agenda, and build the brand reputation as a responsible and caring Organization

- Assist in continuously reviewing the unit’s activities, make recommendations for improvement and implement approved initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team and company’s objectives

- Ensure alignment between the unit’s activities and the approved CSR policy; update the policy and process as Required.

- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

- Coordinate the preparation and compilation of the annual CSR strategic plan and ensure timely \ implementation

- Analyze feedback/ any issues arising from CSR initiatives

- Implement the unit’s work programmes and plans in line with agreed procedures and guidelines

- Plan and manage the human and material resources of the unit to optimize performance, boost morale and enhance productivity

- Manage inter-functional relations to ensure synergy across the various departmental functions

- Monitor and control the budgetary needs of the unit

- Prepare/ compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Department of Brand and Communications
