Description :
This position in the Credit & Fraud Risk Controllership (C&FRC) organization will play a key role in achieving our goal to protect and assure the integrity of the financial statements and proactively mitigate controllable financial risk. As part of a world-class Controllership group, the C&FRC organization is responsible for managing end to end credit and fraud process from reserve adequacy assessment through to the external financial statements and regulatory reporting. The C&FRC group has recently reorganized along functional responsibilities. This role provides support to account for and report Troubled Debt Restructuring (TDR) programs.
Job Responsibilities :
- Update and process TDR models, develop assumptions and implement model changes through SAS programming /SAS development
- Process, review and provide accounting, reporting and analysis for monthly and quarterly TDR production reports
- Adhoc reporting related to the regulation and monitoring of TDR accounts
- Run monthly TDR data validation processes; work with BIDW teams
- Assist in documentation and testing of PRSA SOX controls and support internal and external audit requests
- SAS programmers, SAS developers; SAS coding knowledge is mandatory.
- This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; BE/B Tech from premier institutes; Finance and accounting knowledge is a plus
- 2-4 years experience with SAS products & programming - Macro language
- Basic language - All base procedures including summary, frequency, SQL
- Expertise on Mainframe, UNIX and PC platforms. Experience with financial and analytical systems (Triumph, Globestar, Oracle)
- Experience with Excel, working to summarize large data sets with pivot tables, advanced formulas and functions, etc.
- Knowledge of Essbase and VB a plus, pulling / uploading data, editing code, etc.
- Experience with Risk Management (especially troubled debt restructuring programs)
- Results driven, self-starter, able to lead and influence without direct authority
- Track record of innovation, process improvement and thought leadership in previous roles
- Ability to be flexible and a handle high pressure environment with aggressive deadlines while balancing short term / long term impacts and multiple priorities and customers
- Strong relationship and communications skills and ability to work with a large diverse group of customers across different functional areas
- SOX PRSA, SAS RA, SAS BASE, SEC and BHC reporting experience
Preferred organisations: TCS, RBS, Barclays, Cognizant, Accenture
Shift Timings : 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm (pick and drop facility)
