Assistant Manager - Corporate International Tax and Direct Tax

Adreso Recruitment is actively seeking an Assistant Manager - Corporate International Tax with 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience to join a leading accounting firm in India. If you are an ideal candidate, you will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with additional qualifications such as Company Secretary (CS), which is a plus. Candidates with international tax certifications are encouraged to apply.

What we are looking for:

- Proven experience in corporate tax, preferably in a non-client facing role.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Commercial awareness and a passion for client servicing.

- Proficiency in MS Office, report writing, and attention to detail.

- Ability to take complete responsibility for client engagements and assignments.

- Capability to independently handle Advisory and Compliance engagements related to Direct Tax laws, encompassing Tax Structuring, Advisory, Ongoing Compliance, Litigation support, as well as the execution and management of assigned tasks.

- Ability to independently analyze and interpret provisions under the Income Tax Act as well as provisions pertaining to International Tax, dealing with the interpretation of Tax Treaties.

- Basic general knowledge of Indirect tax.

- Ability to identify business growth opportunities and contribute to Thought Leadership.

- Deep understanding of compliance and litigation assignments.
