We are looking for an enthusiastic resource with a Corporate Communication/content writing experience with strong editing skills to join the ISMC team in India. In this role, the candidate will have to participate in all stages of the content writing, research, creating publications, newsletters and blogs. He/she will support the Head of Communications and the team to plan and execute various marketing communication initiatives organization wide.

Job Description

Content Writer

- Collaborate with the communication head to research and plan new articles for internal and external platforms ; - create employee digital magazines, dossiers, newsletters, emails and blogs for various communication platforms ;

- Create content for external - press releases, press notes, POV features, website, campus, white papers for publishing, case studies and content for award submissions and leadership speaking opportunities when required.

- Commission articles for India head of Technology & Operations ; develop blogs for social media and other relevant forums, develop speech points and decks

- Liaise with team members (e.g. various function heads, technology teams, leadership teams, innovation heads, developers, interns, business analysts to get the brief for the stories

- Ability to connect with SMEs and create content for technology, business enablers, operations

- Proofread and check articles for accuracy and ensure the content is created for the audience suggested . Storytelling is critical.

- Choose supporting material, like images and illustrations and work in collaboration with design team

- Follow current events and developments and suggest original ideas. Work as an internal journalist across all locations and connect / collaborate with global teams

- Use social media and SEO to draw attention to articles ; Digital content development

Communication portfolio

- Flair for marketing and employee engagement events ; Interest and participation preferable

- Ability to think, ideate, build and support to run the initiatives

- Ability to accept change and adapt to new environment

- Critical player for a crisis communication scenario

Requirements

- Strong team player

- Proven work experience as a journalist / reporter in a corporate media house or equivalent in a corporate communication field

- Strong writing and editing ; proofreading skills

- Experience with MS Office, publishing tools and digital media content marketing

- Familiarity with SEO and social media platforms

- Proficiency in English

- Attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to prioritize and multitask

- Masters in journalism, communications or in related field

- Adaptable and moldable for a new work culture, advocate of ethics and strong values at work place.

Work experience of 8-12 years in a corporate with relevant experience or in an equivalent field.
