We are hiring for the position of Assistant Manager - Corporate Accounting with one of the leading organization

JOB PROFILE:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain understanding of inter-company billing and reconciliation for over 200+ subsidiaries and funds.
- Build relationship with Compliance team, FP&A team, and Accounting teams at subsidiaries funds to ensure proper allocations and tracking of expenses are taken
- Provide support timely to subsidiaries and Fund Controllers for allocations
- Utilize IntegriData's Expense Allocation System (EAS) for invoice tracking and allocation approvals
- Assist with first-year build out and maintenance of EAS
- Assist with compiling data and mapping on general ledger system (Sage Intacct) to ensure proper vendor level details are included in all activity
- Ensure compliant with its loan covenants by reviewing calculations monthly, assisting in quarterly lender reporting, and maintaining a database of support needed from over 200+ subsidiaries and funds
- Maintain accounting for leases under ASC 842 as well as purchases for fixed assets and software purchases
- Track actual cash spends for tax and FP&A reporting purposes
- Utilize SharePoint and Excel to maintain and update the firm investment activity on a monthly basis
- Assist with year-end financial statement audits in accordance with US GAAP for consolidated financial statements, 401k plan, broker dealer and international entities
- Ownership of projects and processes
- Compiling inputs from both internal and external sources into Excel and/or SharePoint
- Extensive ad hoc project work, which will mostly focus on budget to actual spend review with FP&A
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSETS:
- M.Com, MBAs in Finance, ICWAs or CAs preferred with minimum of 4 years of work experience post degree.
- Relevant work-experience: Accounting
- Understanding of financial services industry and macro environment; understanding of asset management industry preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent financial modelling skills
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Understanding of financial statements, including profit & loss (P&L) statement and balance sheet, their interconnectivity, and economic and operational business and performance drivers
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to work remotely or with team members who may be remote.
- Quick learner: Ability to absorb and master new information quickly. A good listener, problem solver with a commitment to follow up. Self-managing. Strong organizational skills
- Dynamic and resilient: Ability to thrive in high-paced, dynamic environment and work / collaborate effectively remote if necessary.
