Assistant Manager - Compliance - Staffing Industry (6-8 yrs)

Responsibilities:

- Should be able to handle PAN India employment litigations independently.

- Attending conciliation/court hearings/meeting with labour authorities across locations.

- Appoint/collaborate with external counsels as and when needed.

- Draft replies to the legal /statutory authority notices etc.

- Conducting internal disciplinary enquiries and drafting/ issuing of show cause/warning/ suspension/termination letters.

- Responsible for enforcing compliance in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance and oversee control systems on compliance matters.

- Interacting with client/relevant stakeholders and provides solutions in compliance matters.

- Attend audits & court hearings as per requirement.

- Capable of self-correspondence & liaising with government officials, attended courts& statutory audits.

- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.

- Periodical review of applicability of various Labour and Employment Laws/registrations/licenses/timely renewal/remittance and ensure compliance.

- Ensure proper closure of findings in the event of inspections/notices by various statutory authorities including Labour, PF, ESI, Gratuity, MWs, Payment of Wages etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in relevant field, preferably from staffing industry.

- Good Verbal and Legal drafting skills with proficient in MS-Office.

- In-depth knowledge in the areas of labour laws and litigation proceedings.

- Should be willing to travel for minimum 20 days in a month (PAN India).

- Required Qualification-Bachelor's degree in Law (Graduate & above).
