AM Commercial Accounting - FMCG


Position Summary : This position will be based at Delhi and will be directly reporting to Commercial Controller.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Claims Management :

1. Responsible for end to end commercial spends planning across the Sales channels to support optimized performance and delivery of KPI

2. Support Channel Managers delivery of enhanced performance through Insights, KPI reporting and strategy development

3. Responsible for opex management, including planning, control and ensuring efficiency of spend.

4. Support Budget-planning process on behalf of Sales, centrally own and track target / KPI performance. Role requires preparing the trackers for Trade and SMM spends at IO level for and sharing the same with Stakeholders enabling planning & control.

5. Actively engage with Group colleagues and conduct market analysis for benchmarking and to identify best practice to support new opportunities for growth, cost management and improved service

6. Responsible for developing, maintaining and reviewing third party and internal payment schemes, with a focus on delivering operational improvement and efficiency for Sales Claims.

7. Trade spent reconciliation on month end & passing JE for rectification if any

8. Resolution of pending claims and NCC Issues by 10th of every month for the claims processed in previous month.

Price Updation : On Business decision to increase the pricing to protect Bottom line, ensuring the price updation in SAP for Retail Business as and when the new stock connects at DC.

Distributor Management and Order Release :

1. New DB code opening as per the Business requirement and in compliance to the standard procedure.

2. Sharing the outstanding of respective zones on every TDP to ensure collection if any and order release on advance.

3. Releasing orders as per the SOP to ensure the Business is on Advance except BG Customers .

4. For the BG Customers maintaining the Bank Guarantee in hard copy and SAP; keeping track of renewal date.

5. Work towards automation of Order Release

T&E Management for North & East Zones :

1. Ensure timely processing of employee T&E Claims as per SOP and sharing with concern person to make payment as per the payment calendar.

3P Payroll Management - south & west :

1. Coordination - Ensure all Managers approve attendance and reimbursement as per agreed SOP/ timelines.

2. Follow up and support 3P Vendor and sales team in case of any discrepancy with regard to delayed payments of salary or incentives.

3. Administration/Salary and Month-end accounting entries- Checking salary as per attendance and salary offered through offer letter.

4. Administration/TA DA and Month-end accounting entries - Checking and verifying TA/DA reimbursement as per reimbursement claim policy.

5. With Business Size increasing moving towards dashboards for visibility to ZSMs and ASMs of TSI cost and deployment.

Statutory & Internal Audit Support :

1. Coordinating with the statutory auditor, interfacing with the Internal Auditor of the company, and providing all the documents, which are necessary for conducting audit.

2. Manage the Internal/ External Audit function and develop comprehensive Audit programs on an ongoing basis.

3. Taking up all internal audit issues related to his region pertaining to business and regional finance and resolving it

Governance :

1. Working on the TCS/TDS requirement DB wise. Implementation of 194R.

2. TCS - Invoice wise calculation for monthly return and governance to ensure correct accounting

3. Governance and risk mitigation, ensuring hygiene and accuracy of claims.

4. Responsible for ensuring the FSSAI licenses for DBs are up to date

Competencies :

- Should ensure accountability of Actions and should be Self-Motivated & Action Oriented.

- Collaborative - Ability to build trust & sustainable interpersonal relationships with multiple stakeholders. Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners and government agencies.

- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion.

The Person :

- 3-4 years' experience in a Sales / Channel Management Role

- Qualified CA
