Position - Assistant Manager Business Development

Job Role -
- Direct sales responsibility will be given to accomplish.
- Extensive networking, exploring in the areas of all industries/ sectors for new client generation for corporate trusteeship products in respective region.
- Arranging, conducting meetings with the relevant persons in the finance department, providing offer & close the commercials.
- Attending meeting with respective clients individually & in matured stage with senior group members (initially for a year) or independently (once trained) and keeping them posted on the development thereafter while ensuring continuous follow up & closure.
- Networking, Deal sourcing, Initiating Negotiation & closing a deal in coordination with the supervisor or independently once trained.
- Attending meeting, completion of documents vetting with legal team, ensuring all compliances before execution, arranging/ attending execution - Client - legal & operation team coordination for ensuring deliverables.
- Raising Invoices, Payment tracking & ensuring Payment received in constant coordination with accounts.
- The person will be responsible for creating a regional market for the company in corporate trusteeship product. With weeks on the job & in house training the respective person needs to go out in a complete marketing & sales drive to complete given target figure for FY2010 from the respective regional market.
Candidate Profile:
- Sales/ marketing background in Syndication (primarily Execution)/ financial services/ corporate Banking corporate wealth, private wealth, institutional sales.
- Responsible for income generation directly for at least past 4 years.
- Shown growth in the product segment & geography managed.
- Extensive contacts within Banks & financial Institutions, Law Firms, Arrangers/ syndication companies/ Intermediary/ Corporate finance division in each region.
- Must be a known relationship manager with stability in any organization. ( not looking for people who are changing organizations every year).
A pure sales background in Financial service industry with good track record is welcome.
- Someone who can cope with target pressure & result oriented.
- Someone who is matured enough to handle internal & external equations effectively & keep working towards target .
- Should have good hold/networking in the start up industry.
Preferred hunting grounds:
- Hardcore salesman (Aggressive attitude towards sales pitch).
- Has the focus, planning ability to create market for a given region.
- Very good communication skill - speaking, reading, writing.
- Must be excellent as a RM with clients.
- Multitasking capability.
- Adjustment capability with different people, culture, (person who has no particular choice (food/ place / people etc) in life which needs to be specially accommodated.
- Easy & quick Adaptability to any kind of work & environment is required.
- A long term approach towards relationships & ideas.
- Ready to travel exigencies.
