Assistant Manager - Business Analyst - BFSI

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Business Analysts primary role would be to interact with both the operations and technology on development projects, reviewing and providing solutions to operations/user and performing or coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).

- As a part of their role they would also analyse business processes for the purpose of completing business requirements documents.

- The Analyst will mainly work with direction from operations Lead managers, or Team Lead on planning, project administration and implementation.

- The BA's role is to support projects for a function(s) within Securities Operations in line with the organizational structure of this division within Asset Servicing.

- With some direction and oversight from the management assigned to the same project, the Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that he/she completes assigned tasks and gives the appropriate business input so as to ensure the deliverable fulfills the business requirements for the assigned function.

- Projects will cover Indian Capital markets for the assigned function and focus on the development and implementation of a continuous improvement

- Projects will also include working with Technology to implement solutions to issues that impact the ability of the business to conduct their normal operations.

- The jobholder will also have relationships with groups outside of the functional areas, namely Custody operations Services, Fund Accounting Service Group, Technology groups, Change Management, Risk & Compliance, Quality, Network, Legal, DP Services, Client Services team and Business Development.

- Must have the experience and confidence to identify and raise risks and manage to resolution. Business & Technical: The Business Analyst is required to give input to business requirements.

- During this process, the Analyst works with Operational Management, Product, Compliance, Legal, Network, Technology to find solutions that lead to the Technology development. The aim is to deliver an end product that meets the business needs.

- Where project requires analysis to determine feasibility, the jobholder will draw on their business knowledge to propose a solution. For their assigned projects, Business Analyst has a responsibility to work with Operations, Product, Compliance, Legal, Network to gather the appropriate business requirements so that technology development meets the users / business requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Must be a BE / BTech with at least 2 years of experience (Mandatory)

- Work experience in VBA, Written Macros using advance EXCEL & queries in SQL

- Strong on Excel Charts, Pivots, Slicers, Excel formula, Dashboard views, Index Match, Vlookup & Hlookup, Offset, named ranges, Nested loops

- Good understanding of client-server architecture

- Detailed knowledge of VBA / VB Scripts to be able to write modules from scratch, including ability to make user forms, objects and worksheets and all powered by VBA macros

- Ability to write complex SQL queries like join, union, etc.

- Good Knowledge in RDBMS Access / SQL / Oracle etc.

- Knowledge on Dot-Net would be an added advantage

- Basic knowledge of Indian Capital Market
