We are Hiring for Fortune 500 Global Banking Captive for Regulatory Reporting for AM (Gurgaon) & AVP (Hyderabad)

Description: 

Key activities involve:

- Ensure timely closing of books of accounts, intercompany reconciliation and eliminations, Variance analysis of Balance Sheet and P&L and preparation and reconciliation of various Returns/Schedules as per IFRS/US GAAP//Regulatory reporting requirements for the assigned site/region.

- Understand Group reporting chart of accounts (GRCA) and reporting systems (Saracen). Interpret IFRS rules and apply in preparation of GRCA reporting schedules and related disclosures. The process requires sound understanding of IFRS provisions and Regulatory reporting requirements.

- Understand global Regulatory framework i.e. Process, Regulatory requirements for data purposes & Systems, and support in documentation of global Regulatory data requirements for Reporting

- Ensure ongoing Reporting and analysis support for seamless service delivery of Extenal/Regulatory Reporting deliverables to various onshore partners to agreed service levels.

- Support External/Regulatory Reporting team in preparation & review of various reporting schedules for Interim & Annual Report & Accounts/ Regulatory Reporting.

- Developing and maintaining documentation on projects and team assignments, identify, recommend and implement process improvements in procedures of team assignment.

- Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills. Proactively recognizing problems within scope of responsibilities, identify options and solutions based on the relative cost benefit, then implement solutions.

- Proactively adapt to a changing business environment and revise business processes and procedures accordingly.

The roles envisage: Impact on the Business

- Delivery of allocated deliverables on monthly/quarterly basis

- Understand business requirements and interpret data to provide meaningful analysis reports for onshore/offshore senior manager's review

- Co-ordinate, work-closely with country/site finance teams across the globe to understand key drivers for results

- Respond to queries from offshore & onshore managers, and auditors

- Perform & Review Saracen Change management requests

- Perform & Review Saracen schedules, Manual returns, ARA schedules, BPR, CCS/ Submissions to PRA & Other management reporting deliverables

- Perform & review financial checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness and validity of financial/non-financial data & commentaries

- Ensure control process is in place to maintain data integrity

- Support and ensure timely and accurate delivery of all SOX related compliance.

Business Partner relationship :

- Ability to independently manage the service delivery of a designated process.

- One to one relationship with Onshore counterparts/Analysts.

- Independently discuss new /complex reporting with onshore analyst/ site, and planning for the same.

- Execute action plan around Key Performance Indicators on the gaps and on Business Partner Feedback

- Ensure support is provided to as per requirement from onshore counterparts

Leadership & Teamwork :

- Responsible for complex reporting. Provides oversight and Guidance to less experienced team Members

- Builds Subject matter expertise

- Manage allocation of activities for the team and Conduct Performance Appraisals & Administrative Activities

- Identify self with Team Objectives and step in to support and guide Peers / Juniors

Qualifications: 

Required :

- CA/CWA/CPA/MBA (Finance) with minimum post qualification experience of 6-12 years in IFRS/US GAAPs/ Regulatory framework based reporting.

- Previous working experience in preparation and review of quarterly, interim and annual reports and schedules and/or manage production of RWAs and other reports/schedules in accordance with the BASEL and PRA norms.

- Good analytical skills, an eye for detail and a drive for quality, statistical skills to study trends, understand and to interpret Numeric information and writing commentaries.

- Ability to understand numbers and their impact drive, and achieve accuracies across reporting deliveries.

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word) etc.

- Excellent Communication skills - Both verbal and written

- Knowledge of, and experience in planning and organizing techniques as well as in problem solving techniques

- Self-driven
