Role Definition :
Key Deliverables :
- This position is essential for Materials Management & is recognized as a key business function that is responsible for co-ordination of Planning, Scheduling, Stocking and Controlling materials in an optimum manner at a minimum cost.
Role Description :
Benchmark processes with Group standard :
- Identify Processes / Modules across Supply Chain and align Processes (qualifying Indian legal requirements). The important aspects of Material Management process involving segregation of duties, stock records, stock standing data and free issue stock etc. must be handled in complete alignment with the Group Procedures Manual.
- Through extensive audit, identify compliance status / current gaps in various processes across Businesses (Ref Existing SOP - Group Standard.
- Build system robustness ensuring full MRP compliance & eliminate manual processes
- Inventory Management compliance : Gate Entry, Stores, Perpetual Inventory, Quarterly / Half Yearly / Annual Stock take process with accountability on Gross and Net variance
- Redefine our Organization structure to establish Accountability: across material planning, delivery, control and governance processes.
- Develop Dashboard / Tracker based montitoring for departmental key result area, daily/weekly for continuous health check to throw up early signals in consultation and alignment with the Finance controller.and Monthly monitoring and escalations as required
- Driving the supply chain improvement projects
- Training workforce to skill up on MRP & other enabling processes
- Ensuring development/upgradation/Implementation of IMS system
- Scrap and Hazardous waste management coming out from plant operations accountability-performance Mapping accountabilities
- Escalations to reporting manager for any deviation in department processes
- Identification of IMS requirements related to SCM, review of key managing points
- Communication to customer for any deviation w.r.t daily dispatches
- Create development plan for individual team member

Work Experience requirements :
Nice to have :
- Preferably from Construction Equipment / Heavy Earth moving / Automobile / Auto components
- Experience in handling Greenfield projects preferred
Need to have : 14-15 years of work experience
Education Requirements :
Nice to have : Masters Degree
Need to have : B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering
