Business Development Planning:
- Create annual sales plan that support strategic direction set by the board & correlate with the achievement of annual operating budgets
- Create and manage the annual business development plan for meeting revenue, Individual budgets and market share goals
- Design an effective system to ensure the team provide accurate reports on marketing spends, activity planning for existing and new business opportunities
- Creation of Master customer list for all the territories covered as well to ensure the updating of the list periodically.
- Develop a situation analysis of Medical Centres and Hospital including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to assist in the development of a strategic plan for the future of the business
Search for new business opportunities:
- Undertake secondary market research
- Conduct a thorough competitor analysis with respect to pricing, services offered etc.
- Pro-actively identify new and different business opportunities
- Conceptualize new initiatives for increasing sales through review
- Identify new business opportunities, both internally & externally & expand the business
- Generate new business at new geographies
Enhance Business Relations & Contracts:
- Responsible for maintaining all Clinic tie-ups
- Responsible for strategizing and executing initiatives to increase Referral footfalls from hospitals, clinics & Doctors to meet the top line goals/targets
- Responsible for conducting CMEs
- Information Centres - Activation and Operations
Industry Relationships:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Pharma/Diagnostic companies
Team Management:
- Training and Developing the team members
- Motivating team members to dream big on achievements
- Creating a Talent Pool
- Controlling the attrition rate.
Reports & MIS:
- Prepare monthly MIS and circulate to senior management. MIS should highlight the following:
- Revenue target vs achievement
- New Clinic tie-up
- Information Centre activation & Operation
1. Minimum 10 years of experience
2. MBA/ PGDM
3. Must understand and speak Malayalam
