Assistant General Manager / AGM - Record to Report

Purpose of Job / Key Objectives :

- Responsible for Cluster or Business unit level Financial closing & reporting

- Review of specific monthly management reports including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow analysis, accounting notes, trend analysis and variances, management narratives

- Support to Financial Planning & analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting, rolling forward

- Act as relationship manager with key business stakeholders including Business unit Finance Directors

- Supervise and manage team of Finance Professionals including day to day review, appraisal cycle, training and development needs of staff including growth plan

- Ensure compliance to Finance operating model and ensuring its adherence

- Maintain highest level of quality in deliverables i.e first time right, accurate financial reporting

- Review of close cycle journals and related activities including various reports

Skills :

- A qualified accountant (CA / CPA) with more than 8 years of post-qualification experience.

- Managed a team of finance professionals (Candidate with IC role are also welcome for F&A SME roles)

- Must have Excellent Communication skill& presentation skills

- Should have basic knowledge of IFRS

- Should have exposure to the quality tools like six sigma, lean, etc

- Should have worked for a multinational company in a multicultural environment

- Working experience in SAP, Business warehouse, Business planning & consolidation reporting would be an added advantage

- Excellent MS office skills i.e Excel, power presentations
