Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Projects to join our company. The AGM - Projects will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various projects within our organization, ensuring timely and successful execution from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional project management abilities, and a passion for delivering excellence in the Hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

- Lead and manage all aspects of projects within the organization, including new restaurant openings, renovations, and other strategic initiatives.

- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

- Regularly report on project status to senior management, highlighting key milestones and performance metrics.

2. Vendor Management:

- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for project-related services and materials.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality, cost-effective solutions.

- Oversee vendor performance, adherence to timelines, and compliance with contractual agreements.

3. Budgeting and Cost Control:

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.

- Monitor project expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to control costs effectively.

- Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Uphold high-quality standards across all project deliverables, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks during project implementation to identify and resolve any issues promptly.

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

- Supervise and provide guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.

- Mentor and coach team members, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

- Promote a positive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience (6 years) in project management, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software.

- Solid understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control principles.

- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
