Assistant General Manager - Learning and Development [Manufacturing]
Job description :
The candidate will be based out of the Corporate Office in Chennai of a reputed Cement company and will be responsible for handling/ conducting Training and Development programs for the Corporate, Plant & Field employees on motivational, developmental, behavioral programs.
You will be responsible for end-to-end effective planning to final execution of Learning & Development programs :
- Identifying the training needs of employees across the organization in consultation with HODs and HR
- Preparing training calendars
- Writing & developing contents for various training programs
- Conducting & executing training programs for officials at office, plant level & field managers covering motivational, developmental, behavioral and other non-technical programs
- Monitoring post training evaluation & developing & sharing the data/ MIS with HODs & top management
- Conducting assessment centers to build talent pool for the managerial position & providing an opportunity to internal candidates for promotion/career growth opportunity
Desired Candidate Profile :
- MSW or MBA in HR with minimum 18 years of experience in a Manufacturing company handling Learning & Development for the Corporate, Plant & Field employees
- Candidate should have hands-on experience in Identifying, designing and implementing training and development programs covering non - technical, motivational, developmental, behavioral trainings for the Corporate, Plant & Field employees
- Should be proficient in conducting and leading training programs for the Corporate, Plant & Field employees
- Should have conducted assessment centers for internal promotion and developing talent pool for providing career growth opportunity to internal candidates
