About Client: Our client, a leading insuretech startup specializes in providing innovative and comprehensive employee benefits solutions, offering a range of customizable packages tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses through their tech-first platform. They are backed by leading global investors and are on their scale up stage.

Designation: General Manager / Associate General Manager-Sales

Location: Mumbai, Chennai

Roles: Individual Contributor (to begin with)

Team: Mid-Market Sales

Experience: Should have atleast 3 plus years of corporate sales experience in Health Insurance/General Insurance/Life Insurance in an inusrance company of insurance broking firm

About The Role:

We're looking for rockstar sales reps with proven experience of performance in a hunting and outbound prospecting based set up. Someone who has a very disciplined approach towards selling, managing sales pipeline and keeping CRM up to date at any given point of time and is a result driven professional. A background in B2B sales from the Insurance industry is highly preferred..

Core Responsibilities:

- Speaking to Company's prospective clients

- Understanding their unique requirements

- Explaining and sharpening Company's value-proposition

- Providing the product team with feedback to improve offerings

- Manage and forecast a sales pipeline on your own

- Present Company's Benefits to CXOs & senior executives in client meetings

- Communicate constantly with marketing and pre-sales to improve the quality of the sale pipeline

- Ensure a high level of responsiveness with prospects through the sales process

- Proactively source new leads and new business opportunities

Job Requirement:

Expertise & Qualification:

- Apart from overall experience, at least 3 years of B2B direct sales experience in the insurance broking industry (EB products) is highly preferred.

- Experience of outbound prospecting, cold calling and managing sales pipeline

- Previous experience mainly into hunting, new clients acquisition and sales closures

- Experience having sold to Founders, CHROs & HR team or CFOs Finance team is a mandatory.

- Consistently meeting assigned sales targets

- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English

- Disciplined approach towards updating CRM

Note: People who are working only on global mandates will not be a fit, we need domestic direct sales experience (specifically Indian metropolitan cities) and selling to mid to large enterprises.
