Assistant General Manager - Cyber Security

Job Description :

- 8 to 10 years of experience in Security Operations Center operations

- In depth understanding of :

a. Security Systems right from the gateway up-to the end-point (AMP, Zero day attacks, Host Intrusion Prevention System, Encryption to name a few)

b. TCP/IP

c. Packet Sniffers / Analyzers

d. VAPT / SIEM

Role :

- Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) / IOT will be an added advantage :

a. To assess the IT security set up in the organization

b. Identify Improvements in the IT security set up

c. Execute and Monitor

- IT Security Solutions & Policies

- IT Security Governance

a. To execute Training on IT Security Awareness

IT Adaption & Effectiveness :

- To find the most efficient and secure way to protect the networks, software, data and information systems against any potential attacks.

- To keep up-to-date on cyber security risks, security systems, and mitigation procedures.

- Work with SIEM tool / vendor to ensure all the systems are secure and highlight any breaches / risks with its mitigation strategy to the business

- To implement vulnerability testing, threat analyses, and security checks.

- Provide guidance to the IT team on all security related matters

- Ensure all the systems are updated from a security perspective.

Investigations / Responses to Breaches :

- To investigate for any security breaches and provide security solutions using business standard analysis criteria.

- To maintain a communication channel with key stakeholders and business users

- To deliver :

a. Investigation reports pertaining to the breach

b. Provide follow up action points for mitigation and avoidance in the future

Projects / Initiatives :

- To plan and design healthy security architectures for any IT applications and infrastructure projects / initiatives / solutions.

- Ensure implementation of the proposed security architecture for all existing / new IT applications / services / infrastructure solutions
