PG - MS/M.Sc/MBA - Information systems, Computers, Statistics, M.Tech - Computers

Location: Delhi-NCR

nThrive is currently seeking a manager to lead its Data and Analytics line of business in India. The position is part of the nThrive Analytics leadership team and reports to the VP-Analytics (USA). In this position, the leader will have complete responsibility for the business including P&L management, Team hiring / development, product development and delivery via a combination of direct and matrix organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Techno-functional role - People management, Technical leadership, Stakeholder management

- Responsible for managing, leading and scaling offshore capabilities for the Analytics practice

Management Responsibilities:

- Work with leadership in shaping the growth of the practice while leading all aspects of team development, including identifying, attracting and developing talent

- Define standard metrics and KPIs and establish processes to measure them

- Lead medium to large size projects, and manage the execution by planning project activities, assigning tasks to team, tracking and monitoring the tasks, and working with close coordination with the onshore teams in USA.

- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop highly scalable solutions and make recommendations to help solve problems or improve processes.

- Deliver high quality projects on time and budget in fast paced environments.

- Hire, develop and retain top talent.

- Technical Responsibilities:

- Act and be seen as SME\ trusted advisor by stakeholders and the team

- Project scoping, analysis, installation, testing and support of on premise and big data platforms.

- Develop on the latest enterprise level big data technologies and platforms.

- Provide expert consultation for data architecture and best practices to team

- Architect sustainable big data solutions while identifying gaps and opportunities to improve on existing solutions and processes

- Troubleshoot and Resolve technical issues.

- Integration of diverse data sources on the big data platform.

- Create Azure Data Factory Workflows, stored procedures, SSIS packages etc.

- Create SSAS cubes and automate processes for analytical needs.

- Participates in on-going evolution, improvement, and automation of data warehouse solutions.

- Optimize processes involving large data sets to improve performance.

Internal Responsibilities:

- Adheres to all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to those identified within the Standards of Business Conduct and the Employee Handbook, as may be amended from time to time. Adheres to all applicable laws and regulations and the company's governance/compliance program.

- Responsible for reporting violations of the company's policies and procedures, Standards of Business Conduct, governance program, laws and regulations through the company's Help Line or other mechanism that may be available at the time of the violation. Assists with internal control failure remediation efforts.

- Becomes knowledgeable of internal control responsibilities through training and instruction. Responsible and accountable for internal control performance within their area of responsibility. Participates in the internal controls self-assessment process.

- Ensures concerns with internal control design or performance and process changes that impact internal control execution are communicated to management.

Minimum Knowledge, Competencies & Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in building\managing Analytics teams, including attracting, developing and retaining top talent.

- 10+ years of overall experience in Automation, Data Management, BI and Analytics. Must have designed and implemented Big Data solutions as Lead Architect and / or Delivery Manager on Microsoft BI Stack.

- 8+ years of experience working directly with data warehouses - designing, developing, testing, and supporting of ETL, and OLAP cubes.

- Exceptional leadership, technical, management and communication skills

- Expertise and significant hands-on (design and development) experience in Azure.

- Experience in architecting, leading development of, and maintaining large enterprise systems

- Has led Large teams of at least 20+, set up COE's and innovation.

- Hands on experience in Microsoft Azure Data Warehouse technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Polybase, U-SQL, SQL Data warehouse, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI.

- Expert knowledge of at least three programming languages (.Net, Sql, Java, R, Python etc.)

- Advanced SQL Server programming and knowledge of data warehousing best practices.

- Advanced knowledge of OLAP technologies, and dimensional modeling.

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

- Bachelor's Degree

- US Healthcare experience preferred

Required Skill Sets:

Leadership, Team management, SQL, .Net or Java programming, SSIS, SSAS, ETL, and OLAP cubes. Advanced SQL Server programming, Data warehousing, database schema, Advanced knowledge of OLAP technologies, dimensional modeling, knowledge of MS Azure stack

Preferred skill sets:

U-Sql, Azure data factory (ADF), US healthcare
