Assistant - Fund Accounting & Fund Administration - Venture Capital

Profile: This position shall be responsible for accounting and regulatory compliances including fund accounting and fund administration. Venture Capital being an emerging sector in India, this position shall offer lots to learn across aspects of portfolio management, fund management etc

Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce/Banking with 1+ years experience in operations management. A fresher with professional qualification underway such as CA inter would be great too..

Key Accountabilities

- Manage Fund Administration Services including Asset Management Company (AMC) and regulatory SEBI, FEMA,FIPB reporting & compliances

- Enters,updates, and/or retrieves accounting data, timely process payments including TDS, Service Tax etc .

- Preparing MIS and Projections of the Fund & AMC to provide feedback to Fund Managers on financial performance

- Keep record of all Investments held in the Fund & the AMC

Knowledge Required:

- Fund Accounting and Mutual Funds.

- Financial instruments and Capital markets.

- Ability to understand and apply current accounting guidelines, Income Tax, Service Tax, SEBI guidelines and policy changes.

Traits required :

- Math Competency -Detail oriented and competent in numbers and good working on spreadsheets.

- Communication - Comfortable in translating financial terms & regulations.
