Urgent Need of Travel/Entertainment Editors - Noida.

The ideal candidate will have :

- The specified opportunity is with the US Travel team.

- Relate to the local needs of the US user and/or other assigned markets.

- Work independently and partner with various teams across, in order to maximize opportunities to promote Lifestyle and Entertainment content that engages and delights readers.

- Support and supplement breaking news, big story and trending coverage.

- Scout the best article, slideshow and video content available from partners and prepare it for presentation to readers, discounting all content with profanity, nudity and other risks.

- Spot and stay on top of online Travel trends at all times.

- Identify/implement audience-focused content strategies.

- Work with editors across various countries and different time zones.

- Derive daily insights from content publishing and data reporting tools.

- Liaison with technology teams to improve and test current/future products.

- Understand and support a variety of other business objectives.

Ideal Candidate Will Have :

- Know-how of US and global media industry standards.

- Experience handling Travel or other Features/Lifestyles categories across digital platforms.

- Working knowledge of how to independently handle breaking news scenarios, where speed and accuracy would be of the essence.

- Expertise in collaborating in a fast-paced newsroom with a team of editors/producers.

- Proven ability to choose from a wide range of content options and select those that offer the greatest currency and the deepest relevance with an unbiased and objective narration of facts.

- Keen understanding of the best, most elegant content offered by high-quality news outlets.

- Solid journalistic skills and strong knowledge of news, finance, sports, entertainment and lifestyle topics of interest to an international audience.

- Attention to detail, an appreciation for strong visual presentation and a passion for editorial excellence.

- Good knowledge of engaging with the audiences on social platforms.

Basic Qualifications :

- 4 - 8 years of editorial experience in digital journalism, part of it handling Travel or other Lifestyle vertical.
