Assistant/Deputy Manager - Kitting Operations - FMCG

Asst./Deputy Manager - Kitting Operations would be Monitoring stock levels of All SKUs and RM/PM items required as per the Kitting Plan Volumes and identifying purchasing needs, Researching potential vendors and cc orders and ensuring timely delivery.

- Manage daily/monthly/quarterly/annually operations with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to achieve agreed KPIs for service (case fill rate/ OTIF / capacity), quality, cost and sustainability.

- Coordinate with Planning team and CMs to assure that production and shipment plans have been met.

- Coordinate with Logistics and transporter for the smooth movement of FG from CMs to Depot/Godown.

- Monitor short and long-term capacity at CMs and take initiatives to address potential hotspots in advance.

- Ensure that all projects at CMs, such as capacity expansion, machinery and facility improvements etc. are managed well without causing impact to service.

- Assess and validate CM capabilities, provide recommendations as necessary and align action plan with CMs / internal departments to address issues.

- Qualification of new CMs and New Product Commercialization

- Coordinate all NPD activities related to CM area and ensure that launch timings are met.

- Developing & implementing the methods & procedures for kitting operations.
