Min Exp-4yrs. Relevant Exp in Media, communication, agency management, packaging, pricing etc.

- Must have completed their MBA/PGDM from Premier B-School
- Knowledge and Business Understanding
- Knowledge of Brand Management (product, price, promotion, placement)
- Knowledge of statutory compliance related to the category products (legal declarations/ implications);
- Basic knowledge of category/ product specific manufacturing process and technology;
- Basic Knowledge of logistics (loadability, supply network, time in transit, minimum load, freight cost etc.);
- Basic knowledge of finance(overhead/ revenue apportionment, budgeting, product pricing etc.)

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Category Business Planning.
- Conduct analysis on last 3 - 5 year operating and total industry trends, competition analysis (market share, growth areas, new products etc.) and last years performance analysis of FMCG by product / SKU/ geography etc.
- Plan initiatives for existing products/ entry into new products; Prepare month/ branch wise sales forecast
- Discuss plan with manufacturing & finance team for evaluating capacity readiness/ contribution etc.
- Discuss forecast and planned initiatives with TM&D sales and revise plan if required; Share plan with category/ marketing head and seek input/ approval
- Present plan to DMC and seek input/ approval; Monitor and review progress on plan periodically
- Revise plan in case of significant variance IN ORDER TO ensure achievement of overall category business objectives (market share, profitability etc.)
