Assistant/Associate Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - CA - R&D Captive Center

About R&D: R&D Captive Center in India to cater to the operation support for organization IT globally. This will be called R&D Captive center and will be based at Bangalore. The goal is to create a world class R&D Captive shared services center capable of supporting organization's global needs at optimal cost. Scalable, standardized service delivery that can be expanded as needed to cover various R&D service needs of organization

Key Accountabilities

- Responsible for devising revenue models with R&D business unit head for migration activities in R&D.

- Responsible for financial transaction, vendor payment, capitalization of assets in the center, coordination with SG&A over head controls

- Rolling out financial policies control and evaluation, analysis, monitoring of SG&A.

- Assist in the preparation, reporting and analysis of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts

- Developing and updating forecast models and methodologies to suit changes in business

- Ensuring forecast accuracy;

- Assisting in the month-end close (i.e., accrual preparation, variance reporting, and expense changes, etc.)

- Supplying timely and accurate financial information and summary reports to Corporate Finance and divisional senior management

- Performing ad hoc reports and other analyses and special projects as requested.

- Analyze divisional financial statements and provide narrative describing variances from budget, forecast and actual amounts

- Assist with the creation of revenue forecasts in the quarterly revenue forecast cycle

- Help develop and model alternate business scenarios to determine feasibility, revenue and cost impact of said scenarios

Key skills / capabilities are:

- 6-8 years experience in Finance preferably in a R&D / Service Industry

- Worked under Matrix Structure

- Thinks creatively, nimbly and analytically

- Good Negotiation Skills

- Communicates clearly, concisely and effectively

- Generates ideas, identifies issues, and finds solutions

- Has a strong work ethic and ability to get the job done quickly.

Educational Qualification:

- CA is mandatory
