Job Title: Assistant/Associate Director - Admissions

Reporting to: CMO / Director - Admissions

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities : 

- Reporting to the CMO/Director of Admissions, the Assistant/Associate Director of Admissions would provide leadership and support in the development and implementation of the school's admissions activities, oversee key strategies and assist the Director of Admissions in administration of the Office of Admissions. 


- The candidate would work closely with the management, faculty, marketing and other departments to deliver a coordinated and focused approach to meet the admissions objectives.

Responsibilities of the role include :

- Operationalizing strategic plans supporting the school's admissions objectives

- Ensuring effective processes and procedures for admissions are developed, implemented, monitored and reviewed

- Leading and managing the admissions team towards understanding the ever-changing trends in student interest and admissions and ensuring high-performance results-driven culture

- Managing the end-to-end admissions process for the prestigious full-time MBA programs including shortlisting/filtering of thousands of applications, managing the interview processes across the country and declaration of results

- Managing executive/ part-time MBA admissions from leads to final conversions including enquiry handling, counselling and customer support activities

- Identifying high priority areas for improvement, initiating and managing change in a timely manner, and communicating change effectively

- Working with the marketing team to fine-tune marketing plans related to admissions and executing them

- Planning and execution of offline events such as conferences, seminars or roadshows

- Develop MIS / Admissions reports for decision making

- Managing team performance planning, review, appraisal and promotion exercise through developing, coaching, counselling and motivating employees to enhance their performance and contribution towards the school

Qualifications, Experience and Competency requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from a good school; Masters/ MBA would be an added advantage but not necessary

- Demonstrated ability to meet targets with a keen eye on planning and execution

- Should possess strong analytical skills

- Should have excellent knowledge and experience of working on Microsoft excel

- Should have flawless English writing and public speaking skills

- 10-15 years of Experience in sales/handling teams/familiarity in developing collaterals/communication content

- Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and positive attitude

- Should be self-driven and well organized
