Position reporting to: EVP - Head of BMU

Job Purpose

- The incumbent in this role manages capital allocation and related discussions with stakeholders, reports the weekly Group Balance Sheet, ALM and Dashboards to management and supports discussions on Balance Sheet growth

- The scope of the role includes scheduling monthly ALCO meetings, driving ALCO actionables steering the implementation of technology project related to BMU.

Key Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities -

- Managing and supervising the deliverables of the team

Functional Responsibilities -

- Scheduling monthly group ALCO meetings. Involved in discussion of the agenda and deliberations with the stake-holders.

- Driving ad-hoc actionables and projects directed by ALCO and CFO/COO, including ALM analysis, asset efficiency and liquidity analysis

- Managing capital allocation to Business Units & its reporting. Also involved in pricing, negotiations

- Reporting weekly group Balance Sheet, ALM and Dashboards to Management

- Driving discussions on Balance Sheet growth and the appropriate action plans with CFO / COO

- Managing the monthly closure and reporting of MIS books (including the discussion & agreements with business units)

- Setting-up the revised process framework for creating and maintaining the repository within unit for capital allocation (correct)

Job Requirements

Qualifications: CA

Functional Competencies

- Experience in ALM

- Experience in management & financial reporting in large business groups

- Capability to work on risk measures such as IRS and PV01

- In-depth knowledge of financial products & their accounting norms

- Computer programming and project development skills

- Experience in designing financial and risk management models

- Experience in handing internal and external audits and Inspections
