Description

- Ensures safety of people, processes, and equipment are at the forefront of all work.

- Shared ownership for the output of assigned assets - safety, productivity, quality and cost.

- Provides technical expertise to minimise risk exposure using the safety tools and other technical resources

- Drives improvement in AEP /reliability / per asset objectives

- Identify cost savings opportunities and manage expense spending to unit budget limits.

- Establishes a strong collaborative relationship with the Technical Strategist, Process teams, and department Asset Leaders to ensure the development and execution of continuous improvement plans to address chronic longer term issues and advance the capability of the assets.

- Explore the overall human resource strategy to engage and enable team members to contribute to their full potential through coaching, training, succession planning/career development and performance management.

- Executes capital projects using the Project Work flow Map (reference Capital Execution elements).

- Efficiently and effectively deploys internal and external engineering resources to accomplish project objectives.

- Ensures application of Corporate Policies and Code of Conduct by providing operating management direction, support and adherence to the applicable internal control procedures

- Reinforces and leads the execution of standards, standard work and OPEX processes.

- Champions One Technical Community initiatives, processes and mindset. Develops technical talent (self) by demonstrating proficiency across multiple technologies.'

Profile

- BE /B-Tech with a preference for Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

- 8-12 years in power plant Engineering & Operations

- Experience in Wind Industry

- Strong leader and communicator
