Role: Product Manager (Content Research and Design)
Position Overview :
The Product Manager owns the process of content research and design for Aspiring Minds- proprietary assessments. The Product Manager will manage a team of 30+ associates and managers in designing high quality assessments which make a business impact. This includes developing test blue-print, questions with audio/video content and interfacing with technology team for roll outs. S/he will be actively involved in research and development of new tools. The person will work with technology team to improve question delivery formats, develop new question/answer formats and also define formats for different media - mobile/tabet/PC. S/he will interface with customers to understand requirements and deliver the best solutions. The candidate will also keep abreast with major trends in job/skills to keep Aspiring Minds' products cutting edge. The person will get exposure to work for international customers.
Job Responsibilities :
- Managing and owning the process of content design for Aspiring Minds- proprietary assessments.
- Managing the content development team and being responsible for their work productivity
- Understanding client briefs and requirements, conducting a detailed primary and secondary research to define test framework for tests.
- Interfacing with technology team for design of new formats and rollouts.
- Developing a comprehensive test blueprint, with learnings drawn from different knowledge based instruments.
- Identifying and engaging external consultants and industry experts for item construction in niche topics.
- Working on content analytics and studying the quality of test items basis candidate endorsement data.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Four year college degree from an accredited institution followed by a top tier post-graduation degree.
- Minimum 3 years work experience with atleast 2 years of team management experience.
- Analytical and logical thinker. Ability to inductively and deductively predict outcomes and plan in advance for them.
- Organized and systematic way of working with high attention to detail.
- An interest in learning and assessment theories and a desire to learn constructs and proactively provide suggestions for improvement.
- Product development experience/interest and technical background
