Position Overview :

- The Industry Manager drives success in the planning, execution and penetration of strategic accounts in targeted verticals. Building the strategic approach for the vertical covering a 360 degree coverage of the segment is key to success of this role.

- He/She directly maintains and grows relationships with 2 to 3 large customers and engages with account teams in assisting them to target the vertical with segment aligned messaging and marketing actions, while achieving an assigned sales growth goal for the segment.

- Reporting to the Head - Enterprise Sales, the Industry Manager is expected to drive new business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer segment.

- The Industry Manager is responsible for selling and supporting the firm's complete product and service offering in tandem with the Major/Corporate Account Manager in their assigned set of named accounts. Focusing on customers with high-value, strategic growth opportunity.

Job Responsibilities :

- Grows firm volume, sales, and profitability through proactive management of assigned segment.

Penetrates assigned segment by :

- Marketing new or additional products or services to current buyers and/or Finding additional buyers in the targeted segment

- Markets the firm's complete offering of products and services, by driving repeatable connect in the target segment using all elements of the marketing mix.

- Strategizes the sales process, and assists in solution development and proposal delivery.

Accountabilities & Performance Measures :

- Achieves assigned sales quota in designated segment.

- Manages execution of the targeted vertical strategy.

- Maintains high connect with the targeted segment.

- Engages and supports the regional account team in the targeted vertical.

- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

Organizational Alignment :

- Reports to the Head - Enterprise Sales

- Enlists the support of pre-sales specialists, marketing resources, service resources, and other management resources as needed.

- Closely coordinates company executive involvement with industry engagement and leads as the SME in the segment.

Qualifications :

- Four year college degree from an accredited institution with an MBA

- Minimum 8 to 10 years work experience with at least four years of strategic sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment. Ideal to have had two years of marketing management experience.
