Currently we have an urgent opening with one of our reputed client

Position: Area Sales Manager-Desktops/Laptops

Location : Chennai/Hyderabad

Education: Full time MBA from Tier-I institutes only

Exp: 5-9 Years from PC printer industry: Desktops/laptops / consumer durable/ telecom – only tier1 companies handling B2C (pre paid sims / data cards)

Job Description:

1. Managing channel partners of the region allocating targets and helping them achieve sales.

2. Monitoring performance and increasing sales.

3. Helping Channel in developing new accounts.

4. MIS Compiling weekly reports and sales status.

5. Updating channel with product info and new product launches.

5. Inventory management and control: Timely Movement of stocks to keeps inventory carrying cost to the minimum, control ageing of Stocks.

6. Vendor Management: Relationship management with vendors, continuous engagement to strategize business, structuring deals and aligning run rate business.

7. Giving regular Inputs to vendor on Products, Price, Promotions, Competition Strategies & take regular feedbacks and inputs form vendor on regular basis to improvise on Business.

8. Working Capital Management: Vendor receivables, timely submission of claims to vendor and follow up for disbursement.

9. Ensure near optimal ordering of stock based on past run rate/ branch and vendor forecast.

10. Optimum use of credit limits and rotation of stocks.

11. Cross-functional Coordination with finance, purchase, credit control and operations to enable smooth and hassle free transactions.

12. Collating information on competitors’ activities in the territory and analyzing the same for the business.

13. Explore and train new dealers for the product by organizing training programs, channel partner meets, sales promotion activities, etc.
