- Relevant experience in HR/IR is a must.


1. Review statutory compliance for all the plants by:

- Developing and executing the statutory compliance review mechanism for the plants and monitor progress

- Ensuring legally compliant manning at all plant locations

- Recommending infrastructure pertaining to plant operations

2. Ensuring 100% statutory compliances at plants by:

- Timely updating plants on amendments in labor laws and carrying out seamless changes in GRC

- Conducting workshops on labor laws to further build the capability of line managers on handling compliances at plants and other businesses and JVs

3. Support upcoming manufacturing units in ensuring statutory compliance in project phase

4. Periodic compliance audit at plants

Management of Outsourced employees :

- Periodic review and analysis of outsourced manpower across locations

- Do a comprehensive study of the deployment of outsourced manpower, understanding risk from stat compliance point of view and creating a robust mitigation plan

- Share insights on outsourced manpower deployment on a monthly basis in order to impact business results

Employee Relations :

- Implement and execute ER strategy in close partnership with business leaders, plant team and corporate team

- Tie up with concerned stakeholders to execute ER agenda in new businesses and JVs

- Connect proactively with the environment through appropriate community outreach initiatives

- Drive ring fencing initiatives at a corporate level by mapping all plants from the viewpoint of the external environment and trade union management complexity

- Execute corporate level Ops ER agenda by standardizing plant engagement calendars/ external connect calendars and tracking adherence to the same

Liaisoning :

- Develop connect with the external environment, trade union & communities and adhere to the same at the corporate level

- Interact with the state level government authorities to ensure harmonious plant operations and build an appreciation of Asian Paint's business and its contribution to workmen's welfare

Departmental Activities :

- Administration and releasing monthly MIS in coordination with other team members (functional review, IR updates, Outsourced manpower report, compliance reports, etc.)

- Organizing various meetings to improve the integration level (ER review meeting, quarterly meet with plants, compliance review meeting with GM mfg.)

- Provide guidance for career progression, monitor
