Manager Design Excellence Job description : Purpose : - This role rests in design team within the dcor vertical of Asian paints. The team is responsible for all creative and critical design initiatives for the vertical. - The role will focus on Establishing and incorporating the best design practices into the Beautiful homes services and stores. - Develop good design as a habit for the customer facing roles. This role will work closely with BHS and BH store brand manager. Roles & Responsibilities : - Identify the best design practices around the Dcor industry. - Implement the best practices through regional team members. - Training and skill development on processes, materials, finishes etc - Owner of the design quotient and design scores for the cities. - Standardization of process and design collaterals - Work on effective customer interaction and engagement. - Find areas of improvisation through regular audits of WIP designs and executed sites. Ensure standard process implementation through audits - Keep constant touch base with customers for regular feedback and bring the insights back to the city teams. - Conduct workshops through established industry practitioners, academicians for design improvements. - Develop ways to recommend right for the consumers - Work with sales teams for right product pitches and bring the insights back to the category design team Desired Candidate Profile : - Practical know how of business practices, trends, materials and products related to interior. - Solid understanding of interior standards with execution experience. - Extensive experience of customer handling and sales. - Understands the broader business drivers, with the ability to work collaboratively with key Functional areas both inside and outside of the company - Takes risks rapidly and courageously and learn from mistakes. - High on creativity, good sense of aesthetics - Natural ability to move smoothly from assessing the bigger picture to seeing small details - Understanding of the process of home interior design and implementing innovative practices for bringing efficiencies in the process
