Role Identifier  Job Title : Group Brand Manager - Media   Department: Marketing  Reporting to : Marketing Manager - Colour, Corporate, Media & Digital   Grade:M5B  Jobs Reporting Into : 1 BM, 1 AO  Location/Unit :Head Office - Vakola  Role Description  Job Purpose :  Responsible for managing the Media Portfolio for Asian Paints Limited across all traditional media channels   Primary Responsibilities  - Management of the media spends & AOR for the entire Asian Paints Ltd portfolio  - Focus on optimal media delivery & drive media innovations through impact buys & build brand associations/integrations   - Drive Research Process & own the framework for the metrics to measure spends impact & translate insights into actionable work areas for the brand teams  - Manage RFP- s, contracts, reports, data analysis with all external stakeholders/agencies  - Implement best practices, new strategies, innovative features on an on-going basis   - Manage all Advertiser Funded Programmes, Media strategy for Corporate Brand Activations & evaluate alliances with Channel Partners.  - User Acquisition strategy for all fulfilments arms   - Drive media efficiency metrics, agency delivery, appropriate media buys & plans to drive the overall strategy  - Drive Media Impact properties through media delivery & evaluate new properties/innovation  - Optimal use of research panels & for driving brand research   - YoY increases in measures of audience reach and brand engagement across all traditional media channels  - Drive SOV nos in category & ensure strong deliveries  - Increase conversions (ROI) rate, reduce cost of sale/acquisition   - Enhance processes, implement best and innovative practices  - Quality data analysis to identify insights and trends in order to take business decisions   Scope of Work  a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): Manage the entire Asian Paints Media Portfolio of Rs X cr (no. can be avoidable)  b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports):Has 1 Media Manager & 1 Admin Officer reporting to him/her. Will be working in a team alongside other Group Brand manager.  c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide):HO  d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other): Company Wide  Key Interactions  Internal :With Various Brands within Marketing   With Sales  External : With media agencies, creative agencies, TV Channels, Print Media, Radio & OOH  Role Requirements / Specifications  Qualifications Essential  - MBA with at least 7-8 years of experience in media & digital. Past experience in FMCG/Consumer Durable Companies is an advantage.  - Strong people management skills with experience of managing the client-agency ecosystem   - Understanding of media environment & media analytics/software is essential to enable robust delivery of media strategy  - Should be a go-getter who demonstrates an ability to take a concept and implement it to create a desired impact.   - Ability to think on feet and implement even faster are key requirements   Desired  - Hands on experience in working on popular media software & analytics   - Working knowledge of Digital Landscape with exposure to managing digital agencies, social media promotions will be critical  - Strong implementation skills, negotiation with agencies   Previous Experience Essential:  4-5 years of experience in media/channels/digital sectors   Functional Competencies :  - Proficiency in MS Office  - Working knowledge of mediaware or any equivalent media analytics/software  - Exposure to HTML & Other server side scripting software will be an added advantage  Behavioural Competencies :   - Should be a Team player being able to lead a team of Exec/Officers. Should be strong on people skills & nurture strong relationships with agency partners  - Should have Conceptual Clarity, good communication skills, positive attitude, MS Office skills, - CAN - Attitude, High levels of Dedication, Hard Work and Integrity.
