AsiaCap - Head - Fund Operations - Asset Management

We are a MAS regulated CMS-AI Licensed Investment Manager with a rapidly-expanding portfolio of Funds led by a prestigious and experienced team of Senior Bankers who have managed investments of over USD 50bn in their previous roles. We are currently seeking a dynamic Head of Fund Operations to work with our team in Singapore to assist with the growth of our business.

Reporting to the CEO of Asset Management, and working in close partnership with our Portfolio Management team you will:

- Develop a front-to-back understanding of our Funds and the events associated with their ongoing management

- Perform daily tasks, such as Trade Reconciliation, Settlement and Cash Position reporting for a credit fund, while identifying and implementing new controls

- Lead interactions with third-party service providers including Fund Administrator, Custodian Banks, and Brokers

- Contribute to the launch of new Funds/Segregated Portfolios, including oversight of the required documentation

- Drive the Investor Onboarding process and manage lifecycle events such as Dividend Payments and Redemptions

- Continuously review and improve our processes

- Ad-hoc projects and tasks

- Work with the compliance team to ensure submission of all regulatory deliverables

- Our preferred candidate will possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with a steep learning curve while dealing with changing and competing priorities

- 7+ years of experience of working in an Operations function within the Asset Management or Investment Banking industry, with a focus on trade reconciliation and execution

- Understanding of, and exposure to fixed income with emphasis on credit markets and/or debt capital markets

- Aptitude for dealing with complex issues and communicating them to various stakeholders

- Flexible, adaptable and able to work well under pressure

- Superior organization and communication skills

- Knowledge of MS Office Applications

- Familiarity with Cayman SPC/Singapore VCC structures would be advantageous
