Ashoka University - Manager - Partnerships & Communication

Centre of Social Impact and Philanthropy (CSIP) at Ashoka University is looking for a Partnerships and Communication Manager. The candidate should have the flexibility to work on multiple projects, display a natural aptitude for partnering with different organizations, planning events and a prior understanding on external communications. They should have a deadline-driven approach and be a team player. The candidate should be able to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment.

The Manager will be responsible for leading and managing various networks and convening as well as creating and executing the brand and marketing strategy of the organization.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

- To lead all convenings at CSIP including roundtables, lecture series and a big annual event. - This includes conceptualizing events, planning the agenda, inviting key speakers/panelists, coordinating on logistics with the Ashoka event management team and ensuring follow-ups of events.

- Build a network of resource people, facilitators, mentors etc. in the sector to provide support at various levels of different program.

- Work on print media, social media coverage and other forms of communications for internal and external partners of Ashoka.

- Assist in creating collateral for research projects and other work of the center.

- Hire, train, and mentor members in the student engagement team as required, including program associates and interns.

- Conceptualize and propose other avenues and opportunities that Ashoka University can provide to its partners to establish itself as a leader in social impact education in India.

Must Haves :

- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing projects.

- Excellent at building partnerships and networking, especially in the development sector.

- Demonstrated experience with content creation and content editing.

Preferred :

- Prior work experience in the social sector.

- Experience organizing and curating events.
