DUTIES : - Provide leadership in the command center to support a 24x7x365 operating environment. - Identifies areas for process improvement and builds current and future state roadmaps for Command Center capabilities - Ensures 24x7x365 shift schedule meets customer demand for the duties associated with the Command Center. - Meets defined SLAs for incident response, MTTR and hands on leadership during Major incidents. - Provides timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams. - Recognize, identify and prioritize incidents in accordance with ascena policies and procedures. - Collect and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends in hardware and application performance to assist technical personnel to predict future issues or outages. - Manage and coordinate monthly maintenance activities. - Work with internal and external technical and service teams to create and/or update knowledge base articles and playbooks. - Executes business and customer reviews to ensure Command Center capabilities are meeting expectations. - Administratively manage the Core Technology team(Current team size ~80 FTEs) - Be an integral part of the Bangalore Leadership team driving ascena culture and success of the Bangalore office. - Other duties as assigned WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS : - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technical Management or equivalent work experience. - At least 10 years of experience managing a Command Center or NOC in a 24x7x365 environment. - A minimum of seven years of experience supporting and monitoring network, servers and storage within an enterprise environment. - Strong experience in process and process development including the creation and measurement of KPIs - Working knowledge of monitoring protocols including SNMP, Netflow, WMI, syslog, etc.. - Understanding of operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Redhat, AIX, I-series - Experience using capacity planning and resource management software (ideally SolarWinds and vRealize Operations) - Ability to be on call 24x7x365 and have a flexible work schedule - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills - Strong customer communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives while handling the management and execution of daily operations.
