Role Name : Section Head- MPC

Location : Taloja, Navi Mumbai

Reporting to : Department Head SCP&L

Role purpose :

- To ensure uninterrupted availability of RM & Other BOM for production

Responsibilities :

KRA (Key Result Areas) :

Material Requirement Planning (MRP) :

- To review and finalise the material requirement plan to ensure timely availability of RM & BOM for production as per production plan

- To track and regulate actual RM & BOM consumption against the planned numbers inorder to optimise material availability for production

KPI (Key Performance Indicators) :

1) Timeliness of submission of Production & Delivery orders

2) plan vs actual

3) allocation loss

Inventory control :

KRA (Key Result Areas) :

- To coordinate with production and materials to optimize slow moving and cycle/running inventory levels

KPI (Key Performance Indicators):

1) RG, PVB, BOP Inventory turns (target vs actual)

2) Slow moving stocks (target vs actual)

Warehousing :

KRA (Key Result Areas) :

- To implement SOP's so as to build safe working environment, minimize damage/deterioration of RG & PVB and accurate stock reporting

KPI (Key Performance Indicators):

1) No. of recordable/restrcited injuries in pallet yard and FG warehouse

2) Safety audit score- RG & PVB warehouse

3) Handling damage (Value) 4) FIFO adherence

Systems & processes :

KRA (Key Result Areas) :

- To develop, upgrade and modify MPC processes and systems as per business requirement.

- Implementation, review & monitoring of TS 16949,ISO 14001, TQM as per company guidelines.

KPI (Key Performance Indicators):

- TQM Audit score / TQM Review meetings.

- No. of NCR's in internal / external audits.

Manpower Development :

KRA (Key Result Areas) :

- To plan and develop the skills in section members as per roles and responsibility

- To build and maintain high morale and motivation in section members through better communication by periodical formal and informal meetings

KPI (Key Performance Indicators):

- timeliness of Competency mapping preparation

- Training plan vs actual

- Communication meeting plan vs actual

- Off site get togethers (of MPC section) plan vs actual

INTERACTION :

Internal : Sales & Marketting, Production, I.T., Projects and New Model Development, Materials/Purchase, Vendor Development

Customers :

- TML, SVWIPL, M&M, FCA, PIAGGIO, BAL

Other External parties/Vendors:

- Domestic Suppliers
