- Manage multiple partners (GL, AP, FP&A, Procurement, etc.) onshore managers - Ensure the team's accurate and timely delivery of services (i.e. GL posting, reconciliation of GL, documentation, consolidation of financial and non-financial information, cash applications, recons, accounts payable/ receivable, etc.) in accordance with SLAs. - Responsible for the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of financial and management information. Extend support to onshore manager on periodic close for GL to ensure closing deadlines are met and free from any integrity issues. - Balance aligned processes as applicable (general accounting, Fixed Assets, Intercompany reporting, Reconciliations, etc.) as applicable - Ensures timely completion/ adherence to all applicable legal / statutory audit requirements. - Ensure the team fully complies with internal company controls and reports on a timely and correct basis to the Internal Control - Provide advice and information to staff across the BSC and its customers as and when required. - Manage and supervise team members to ensure tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner. - Regularly track and resolve outstanding issues that have been escalated, or further escalate to the necessary parties. - Implement best practices for the processes and proactively identify, propose and implement continuous improvement opportunities in existing processes within the team. - Managing the day-to-day work activities of the team and ensuring the necessary skills and experience are available to meet the challenges of a demanding and complex workload. - High level of familiarity with the systems used in order to maintain and reconcile the general ledger system to ensure it balances correctly. Transition Support - Providing transition support of processes by bringing in shared service specific knowledge & best practices for smooth implementation and execution. - Providing inputs by participating in Technology testing & demos, UATs & deployment activities during process transition to BSC. - Working closely with Tower leads across P2P, B2R & O2C to establish the right organization for Finance areas within BSC (relating to people, skillset, reporting relationships etc.) - Actively participating in all migration & deployment activities including training material preparation & delivery, service rehearsal testing, go-live readiness and support structure establishment. - Providing active post go-live support to BSC team during the stabilization phase. Team Management - Carry out team management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including: o Plan, assign and direct work. - Appraise performance; provide feedback and coaching, and reward and discipline employees. - Provide opportunities for learning and self-development and facilitate the development of technical competencies. - Continuously strive to build a culture of high-performance. - Facilitate effective teamwork and builds collaborative relationships internally and externally Service Excellence - Ensuring that overall delivery of services to Operating companies meets or exceeds agreed KPIs and SLAs defined between Operating Companies and BSC and is within a strong internal control framework. - Partner with the Service Management team to: Develop and track Service Level Agreements (SLA) to ensure service delivery excellence. Provide input to service reporting. Facilitate service transition when required. - Ensure that Internal Customer and Supplier issues are dealt with in accordance with the escalation process and push back where this is not the case. - Build customer relationship, drive confidence & improve customer happiness Innovation and Continuous Improvement - Create a mindset of innovation aimed at constantly challenging the norm to drive business value. - Responsible for ensuring a disciplined approach to operational excellence/performance management is in place and evolves over time. - Driving ongoing continuous improvement within O2C to improve profitability.
